Dawa Kangri is a majestic mountain peak located in the eastern Karakoram range in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh. It is a popular trekking destination, known for its challenging terrain, stunning views, and remote, rugged beauty. The trek to Dawa Kangri peak typically starts from the losar in Spiti Valley or town of Leh and passes through several high-altitude passes and remote villages before reaching the base camp at the foot of the hills. From there, trekkers will need to navigate steep and challenging terrain to reach the summit. The trek is considered to be challenging and recommended for experienced trekkers only. The trek is usually done in summer, monsoon and early autumn.
